We’ll start with the biggest news from last night:
Josh Allen is a consensus All-American
The University of Kentucky announced last night that Kentucky star pass-rusher Josh Allen was just one of eight consensus All-Americans this season, earning honors from American Football Coaches Association, Associated Press, Football Writers Association of America, The Sporting News and Walter Camp Foundation.
With the prestigious honor, Allen becomes Kentucky’s first consensus All-American since wide receiver/kick returner Derek Abney pulled it off in 2002. He was also the first unanimous selection since defensive lineman Art Still in 1977, with those two being the only Wildcats in history to accomplish that feat.
