Before we get into the nitty gritty of things, let’s take a moment to celebrate the best darn defensive player in the nation.
On Thursday evening, Kentucky star pass-rusher Josh Allen took home the Chuck Bednarik Award, given annually to the best defensive player in college football.
The best part of it all? Allen won it on the big stage, winning the award on ESPN’s “Home Depot College Football Awards Show” over two players from powerhouse schools, Quinnen Williams (Alabama) and Christian Wilkins (Clemson).
And boy did he represent the Big Blue Nation well…
