To say it has been an emotional week in Lexington would probably be a gigantic understatement. Following the loss of assistant coach John Schlarman on Thursday, the Cats suited up for an early afternoon tilt with Vanderbilt.
While it wasn’t perfect, especially on the defensive side of the ball, a win is a win and this team needed a win in the worst kind of way. The Cats used solid play from Terry Wilson and the offense en route to a 38-35 victory over the Commodores.
