Good morning BBN, these are your morning Wildcat quickies. It is with heavy hearts that we mourn the loss of ESPN broadcaster John Saunders. Saunders died at 61 after working at ESPN since 1986. Saunders was well-known around the world of sports media and was one of the more recognizable faces of ESPN.
It's hard to find a more versatile broadcaster than Saunders. From college basketball and football, to WNBA, to the NHL postseason and even Major League Baseball, Saunders covered it all. On top of all that he had been hosting the Sports Reporters on ESPN since late 2011.
