It’s a slow Thursday night, so how about a trip down memory lane? As the Cats prepare to head to Columbia, let’s take a look back at five straight years of beating South Carolina.
2014: Kentucky 45, South Carolina 38
Otherwise known as the night JoJo Kemp could not be stopped. JoJo killed the Gamecocks out of the Wildcat with 17 carries for 131 yards and three touchdowns, giving Mark Stoops his first signature win and Kentucky fans a rare victory over Spurrier. There were so many awesome things about that night: the Grove Street Party dance; “We’re just getting started, bro”; JoJo’s heroics; and Bud Dupree’s sweet pick six to seal the win.
