LEXINGTON - Mark Stoops has made a quarterback change for Kentucky football at Missouri.
After the offense gained just two first downs on its first three drives, Stoops replaced starting quarterback Terry Wilson with Auburn transfer Joey Gatewood on the fourth drive. Wilson had completed just 2 of 6 passes for nine yards.
Gatewood had previously played in mop-up duty of the last two games after being declared eligible to play this season by the NCAA and SEC.
The SEC approved all waivers for players transferring from one conference school to another due to "current circumstances resulting from disruptions caused by the COVID-19 pandemic.
