LEXINGTON - Kentucky basketball may not have gotten its chance to win the annual rivalry matchup versus Louisville, but it still managed to grab some bragging rights over the Cardinals Wednesday in Rupp Arena.
After Louisville was forced to back out of its scheduled trip to Lexington Wednesday due to positive COVID-19 tests, UK replaced the Cardinals on the schedule with Western Kentucky. UK coach John Calipari billed WKU as a tough matchup because the Hilltoppers beat Louisville Saturday, but Kentucky led comfortably throughout on the way to a 95-60 win.
Super senior guard Kellan Grady led Kentucky with 24 points.
