Three weeks ago when the season began I never would have dreamt that I would be sitting here writing about a Kentucky basketball team with a 1-4 record. However, 2020 has brought us a lot of weird experiences and a 1-4 start to the season is just another item on that list.
So, where do we go from here? The second half against Notre Dame brought some reason for optimism going forward, but allowing a 19-0 run in the first half dug too big of a hole as UK lost their fourth straight game, 64-63. With no Detroit Mercy contest to prepare for, the Wildcats will have another full week of Camp Cal to try and get right in time for a trip to Cleveland on Saturday to take on UCLA.
