LEXINGTON — Starting Wednesday, class of 2021 basketball recruits can begin signing with college programs.
Unlike football where the vast majority of recruits sign on the first day of the period, basketball signings are likely to trickle in throughout the week-long period. Kentucky has traditionally held off announcing its signees until it is confident no further commitments are coming before the signing window closes.
For that reason, do not be alarmed if Kentucky does not announce any signees on Wednesday. John Calipari's program holds three verbal commitments in the 2021 class who are expected to sign at some point in the next week and remains in the running for several other top prospects, including five-star guards Jaden Hardy and Hunter Sallis.
