LEXINGTON – Even in a normal season, Kentucky football fans could expect a few previously overshadowed players to emerge as breakout contributors.
A year ago, Kash Daniel, Lynn Bowden, A.J. Rose and Calvin Taylor entered the season as question marks for the Wildcats. Four months later they were among the most important players on the roster.
But this is no normal season for Kentucky. With 16 starters from the 10-3 Citrus Bowl champion squad gone, more than a dozen Wildcats figure to see increased roles.
