“I absolutely love them,” Jared Lorenzen once told talk-show host Jim Rome about his many nicknames.
And most everyone else, it seemed, absolutely loved him.
Wednesday’s news that the former University of Kentucky quarterback and Southeastern Conference legend had died at age 38 was a punch in the gut for so many.
