Last Wednesday, 5-star wing Mookie Cook announced that he was decommitting from the Oregon Ducks and reopening his recruitment.
Soon after Cook’s decommitment, On3’s Jamie Shaw reported that the Kentucky Wildcats had reached out to Cook.
In his first recruitment, Cook decided to commit to the Ducks over the Gonzaga Bulldogs and Kentucky.
Now in his second recruitment, Cook is once again looking at blue-blood programs as well as the pro route, according to On3’s Joe Tipton.
“An abundance of schools reached out to the 6-foot-7 prospect out of AZ Compass Prep following his decommitment, but a source close to Cook told On3 he’s considering the following six programs — Kentucky, Duke, Arizona, Gonzaga, the G-League Ignite, and will continue to consider Oregon.
