If you’re a fan of The Walking Dead, I suggest you go check out this mural that was just finished in Cynthiana. The Walking Dead‘s co-creator and original artist Tony Moore was born in Cynthiana, and current writer and co-creator Robert Kirkman is from nearby Richmond, so Roger Slade, owner of the Rohs Opera House downtown, commissioned Portuguese artist Sergio Odeith to paint a tribute to them on the side of the Opera House. Odeith spent six days and 70 cans of paint bringing four of the series’ lead characters — Sheriff Rick Grimes; his son, Carl; Michonne; and Daryl Dixon — to life, and the results are pretty spectacular.
