Starting Tuesday, college baseball fans will have their eyes on Hoover, Ala., as many of the nation's top teams will begin postseason play in the annual Southeastern Conference Tournament.
The tourney begins Tuesday morning in the 10,800-seat Hoover Metropolitan Complex, and after 17 games, the SEC champion will be crowned Sunday. The tournament features 12 of the SEC's 14 teams.
Seeds 5-12 will compete in the single-elimination first round. The double-elimination rounds will last through Friday and the single-elimination semifinals will be Saturday afternoon. The first round through the semifinals will be on the SEC Network, and the championship game will be broadcast on ESPN2.
