It’s the time of year for tradition, and last night, my friends and I made our annual pilgrimage to the Family Wash in Nashville to see The Ornaments play. For ten years, a group of local musicians have performed Vince Guaraldi’s classic holiday jazz album “A Charlie Brown Christmas” from beginning to end with a rotating list of guest soloists. It’s become a holiday tradition for me and my friends, and last night, a steel guitarist joined the gang, putting a country spin on some old classics.
