LEXINGTON – Take it as a sign of progress.
For the sixth consecutive game, Kentucky junior forward Nick Richards scored in double figures Saturday against Georgia Tech. A week earlier, he posted his fourth double-double of the season with 12 points and 10 rebounds against Fairleigh Dickinson.
Those achievements would have been cause for celebration at almost any point in Richards’ first two seasons as a Wildcat. Entering the year, he had reached double digits in points just nine times in 74 games.
