There has been a large media focus on Kentucky’s loss last weekend to the Indiana Hoosiers, but then again, why wouldn’t there be? Prior to entering the tournament, the Hoosiers were ranked 12th while the Wildcats were ranked 13th. Not a HUGE difference of course; both teams won their conference regular season titles and there is no doubt both teams (Kentucky in particular) were screwed by the selection committee. So why is the media all up in arms about Kentucky losing to a team who was actually ranked higher than we were going in?
