Kentucky linebacker Jordan Jones suffered a shoulder injury during Kentucky’s win over Eastern Kentucky. Mark Stoops didn’t realize it at the time, but had this to say about Jones’ status during Monday’s press conference.
“He has a little issue with his shoulder. We’ll see how it goes throughout the week,” Stoops said. “He’s not ruled out at this point.”
Later that day on his call-in show, Stoops revealed that Jones did not participate in Monday’s practice.
Today, the fan base was thrown into a frenzy over an online rumor. Instead of just “a little issue,” the rumor claimed Jones had actually broken his collarbone.
