Mark Stoops revealed the day before the Gator Bowl that the Wildcats are 100% free of COVID-19. That was not the case near the end of the season as UK traveled shorthanded to Florida and Alabama. There was a risk that some players might return from the Christmas break with coronavirus, but the team is free and clear.
“I was worried,” Stoops said. “The way 2020 went, I’d get popped on the last test. I had people all around me all year coming up with it.
