Sports Illustrated released its college basketball preview this week and …until the Kansas City Royals won the World Series and stole the spotlight.
The folks at SI posted the would-have-been covers on their website anyways for your viewing pleasure. Alex represented Kentucky, SI’s #3 team, while Marcus Paige represented #1 UNC and Perry Ellis #2 Kansas. Alex’s cover was the best by far. I mean, just look at Marcus Paige. He looks like someone just asked him for his Afro-American Studies homework:
