Mark Stoops will not field two separate teams. In an ideal world, you pick a pair of captains and let them draft teams. Unfortunately, depth does not allow that this year. Kentucky only has 11 total offensive linemen and is thin at linebacker and wide receiver. That problem will be solved by fall when injuries heal and freshmen arrive.
Until then, Stoops will settle for a simple offense vs. defense scrimmage with four 12-minute quarters. It will make the game more competitive, but it creates a complicated scoring system.
