The first edition of the USA Today Coaches Poll is out for the 2017-18 college basketball season.
To no surprise, the Kentucky Wildcats will yet again open a season as a top-five club. This poll has UK checking in at No. 4, trailing only the Duke Blue Devils, Michigan State Spartans and Kansas Jayhawks.
This ranking features two SEC teams in the top 10 and three in the top 25. It also has top-25 teams that the Cats will face this season, the highest of which being Kansas in the Champions Classic.
