It seems like Kentucky basketball’s season has been at a “turning point” just about every game for a month now. The team couldn’t afford a fourth, fifth or sixth loss before conference play – but ended up with them anyway. Then they had to start winning games to open SEC play – which they did. Then they got smoked by Alabama on Tuesday to start the cycle all over again.
And now, once again, the season is at a point where it could potentially unravel. If the Wildcats can’t beat a decent, but not great Auburn team on the road Saturday (even if they’re better with Sharife Cooper) it really is hard to see the path to them winning enough games to make the NCAA Tournament.
