Throughout the season I’ll break down game film and post notes and observations. Today, I must say, after watching the Wildcat win for the second time, I feel better about the state of the program. The plethora of missed offensive opportunities cannot be taken lightly or brushed off due to rookie nerves. However, defensively is where I see the most encouragement and opportunity for improvement. Here are some observations:
— Boom Williams opening 75-yard touchdown run was perfectly executed up front by a Jon Toth knockdown, Zach West kick-out block, and CJ Conrad getting to the second level to run interference against a linebacker.
