The Eye in the Sky Don’t Lie: Kentucky vs. South Carolina

Offensively, Kentucky played a nearly perfect 30 minutes in Williams-Brice Stadium. But, for the second straight week, the wheels came off in the second half as the Wildcats nearly blew an early 24-7 before clawing its way through the fourth quarter and holding on to win 26-22.

The most obvious team improvement was on the defensive side of the football. At times, true freshman Chris Westry shined in his initial road test as his fellow defenders employed a bend but don’t break concept and forced Carolina into settling for field goals in the red zone.

To properly describe the film, we’ll break it down by offense/defense and by the half.
