The Kentucky basketball team got a much needed win over Alabama on Saturday at home. The Wildcats were led in scoring by PJ Washington’s 16 points. The victory snapped Kentucky’s 4-game losing streak in conference play.
Washington came off the bench for the second consecutive game. He, along with fellow freshman Quade Green, combined for 15 of Kentucky’s 39 first half points. Green was 4-of-5 from the field in the first half and led all scorers at halftime with 9 points. Green finished 5-of-6 for the game and had 12 points.
Jarred Vanderbilt had his best game of the season.
