Like all of the league’s coaches down at SEC Media Days, Mark Stoops was asked about alcohol sales coming to the SEC and if he has been in any of the conversations about it at Kentucky. The league decided back in May that it will lift the ban on alcohol sales, leaving it up to the individual schools to decide whether or not they will sell booze at games.
Stoops said, “No, I have not been a part of that. That’s above my pay grade.” He added that he trusts Mitch Barnhart and Eli Capilouto and supports whatever they decide.
