Terry Wilson plans to be healthy by the time the 2020 season kicks off next year.
However, Mark Stoops said on his coaches show Tuesday that Wilson will not be ready in time for spring practice.
Wilson suffered a torn patellar tendon in his left knee against Eastern Michigan on September 7th, which sidelined him for the rest of the season.
“He’s (Wilson) in great spirits, and he’ll be back with no problem,” Stoops said. “He’s on track with rehab, and things are going well.”
Wilson also made an appearance on the coaches show and spoke on his injury and rehabilitation:
