The University of Tennessee has banned 25 fans, 16 students and 9 other fans, from spring sporting events due to their involvement with throwing items on the field and other destruction during the Volunteers football game against Ole Miss.
According to Knoxnews.com:
In a letter sent Friday to SEC Commissioner Greg Sankey, UT Athletics Director Danny White outlined steps the university is taking to “effectively aid in the prevention of future incidents.”
Those include immediate changes for the next home football game, plus a big-picture security review for Neyland Stadium.
Changes that will be implemented immediately:
– Prohibit student guest tickets for the Nov.
