Kentucky hockey defeated the East Texas Baptist University (ETBU) Tigers 3-1 on Sunday, Sept. 15, after shutting out the Tigers 6-0 the previous night.
Physicality was the story of the weekend as both teams were eager to check their opponents and send a message. Multiple fights broke out during the first game of the series with several penalties given out.
