We still don’t know for sure if – or how many – fans will be allowed to attend college football games in the fall, but those stadium parking lots could be without tailgating either way.
According to Justin Rowland of Rivals.com, he’s hearing that tailgating won’t be happening, at least for the upcoming season.
No one knows exactly when an announcement will be made on if fans can attend or how many will be allowed in. Rowland also reported that Mitch Barnhart said there have been “significant differences of opinion” among SEC athletic directors. So this is very much a fluid situation with constantly changing plans.
