Coach Calipari revealed on his call-in show that Wynyard will not be back for the game against Valpo. The BBN’s condolences are with the Wynyards during this difficult time.
The frontcourt took another hit today, quite literally. Calipari tried switching things up by inserting Sacha Killeya-Jones into the lineup with Bam Adebayo. On the first play, Killeya-Jones took a shot to the eye. He was forced to leave practice to get stitches, although he did return before practice ended.
Killeya-Jones’ status for Wednesday’s game is uncertain. “We’ll see,” Calipari said.
