Former Kentucky track and field stars Sydney McLaughlin-Levrone and Daniel Roberts both advanced to the semifinals of their respective events at the Olympic games this morning.
McLaughlin-Levrone, the defending gold medalist and world record holder, cruised to an easy victory in the 400m hurdles.
Roberts advanced by finishing third in heat 3 of the 110m hurdles.

PARIS, France – The first two Kentucky Track and Field Olympians took to the track on Sunday morning, as hurdlers Sydney McLaughlin-Levrone and Daniel Roberts each advanced out of their respective opening round with an automatic qualification.
