Everyone knew Lynn Bowden was a playmaker, and last night, the junior wide receiver showed that he can lead his team to victory in multiple ways, putting the team on his back and carrying the Wildcats to a 24-20 victory over the Arkansas Razorbacks to bring Kentucky to 3-3 on the season.
Bowden wasn’t a stranger to the QB position. He played in high school, but really became readjusted during the last two weeks, a testament to Bowden, Mark Stoops, Eddie Gran and the offensive coaches.
With Bowden at the helm, Kentucky’s rushing attack led the way, piling up 330 yards on the ground, 196 of those coming from Bowden himself.
