Yesterday the Kentucky Wildcats football team had their second major scrimmage of fall camp and, by all indications, things went much better than they did a week ago.
The most encouraging news out of the scrimmage was that Terry Wilson had his best performance to date. The performance was so good that the coaches may be ready to name a quarterback sooner than later.
Wilson has been behind redshirt sophomore Gunnar Hoak in terms of grasping the offense and being used to Eddie Gran’s system. But there is no denying the extra element that Wilson brings to the position with his speed and elusive running ability.
