It’s not very often that you see a high school player in Kentucky put up the type of numbers that we’re seeing out of Reed Sheppard at North Laurel High School in London, Kentucky.
Sheppard, the son of former UK great Jeff Sheppard and Stacey Reed, who finished her UK career among the school’s 10 all-time leading scorers, is lighting up the high school basketball scene in the Bluegrass, averaging 31 points per game to go along with eight rebounds.
Just recently, Sheppard scored 51 of his team’s 84 points in a triple-double effort where he also compiled 11 assists and 10 rebounds.
