Mark Stoops didn’t have a lot of answers or excuses for his football team after the game, admitting to reporters that his decision to go for it on 4th and 2 on the Georgia 48-yard line at the start of the second half was a bad call.
“Poor decision,” Stoops said. “In hindsight, not a good choice by me. I felt like we needed a spark. As you can tell, possessions were going to be very tough for us and I went for it there and it didn’t work. It wasn’t a very smart decision by me.
