Stoops on Wan’Dale Robinson: “That’s going to be big”

Last week, Wan’Dale Robinson announced he is coming home to Kentucky, bringing a long courtship with Mark Stoops and Vince Marrow full circle. The Frankfort native committed to his home state Wildcats over two years ago, but had a change of heart and went to Nebraska instead. As a Cornhusker, he set school records for receptions and receiving yards by a freshman in 2019 and led the Huskers in receiving in 2020. In 20 games, Robinson picked up just shy of 2,000 yards from scrimmage and was a two-time finalist for the Paul Hornung Award, given each year to the nation’s most versatile college football player.
