In college football, there are some weeks where your team wins and you want to analyze and highlight every single moment of the game. For the Kentucky Wildcats, they’ll be glad to move on to their next opponent after escaping the Northern Illinois Huskies in a narrow 31-23 victory.
Frustrations and concerns were the topic of the first half. The Huskies moved the ball effectively on the first drive of the game, quickly going up 7-0. Kentucky answered with a Barion Brown touchdown and took the lead right after with a Tayvion Robinson home run.
After the Wildcats’ defense tightened up, it looked like Kentucky would take a 14-7 lead in to the locker room.
