Steven Borden, former Kentucky tight-end who fell undrafted a little under a month ago, is finally receiving perhaps news of the start of a lifelong dream. The son of wrestling star, Sting has been offered a tryout with the Kansas City Chiefs.
Borden, stuck in an offense that primarily ignored the tight-end position, didn’t see the ball nearly enough to turn any heads. In fact, in two seasons with the ‘Cats, Borden only caught 7 passes, totaling 97 yards. In retrospect, Javess Blue out-received Borden in receptions along with passing yards in just the first three games of the 2014 season.
