Kentucky’s loss to South Carolina was so bad (31-6) that one certified UK football hater has came out of the woodwork to take some shots at the Cats.
Steve Spurrier, who once beat Kentucky 73-7 when he was Florida’s coach, called UK’s effort “embarrassing” during an appearance on ‘Another Dooley Noted Podcast’ this week.
“Their defense completely stymied a bad Kentucky offense,” Spurrier said. “That was bad. The announcer said ‘they have attempted to run the ball 18 straight plays…’ South Carolina played great defense and they had the spirit. They just clobbered ’em, clobbered Kentucky. You can tell South Carolina was much better.
