As the NFL off-season rolls on the Pittsburgh Steelers have a decision to make regarding former 1st-round pick and Kentucky star Bud Dupree.
The Steelers have until May 3rd to pick up the fifth year option on Dupree’s rookie contract, an option that would guarantee around $10 million for Dupree in case of injury.
If the Steelers do decide to pick up the option it would make Dupree the seventh highest paid player on the roster.
Dupree certainly has the talent to deserve that type of money but his production thus far does not make it a simple decision.
