Kentucky Wildcats pass-rusher Alvin ‘Bud’ Dupree has been signed by the Pittsburgh Steelers.
After being selected 22nd overall in the 2015 NFL draft, Dupree has now signed his first NFL contract. It’s a four-year deal worth over $9.2 million in total value.
The 6-foot-4, 269-pound Dupree was third-team All-America by Phil Steele’s College Football and first-team All-SEC by The Associated Press, league coaches and Phil Steele, led all SEC defensive linemen with 74 total tackles. He led UK with 12.5 tackles for loss, including 7.5 quarterback sacks, ranking among the SEC leaders in both categories.
