The silly season in football has officially started.
Coaches are being fired, retained, re-signed, hired, and resigning all over the country. A few of the most storied programs in the country have had their head coaching jobs come open. Schools like Southern California, Georgia, Virginia Tech and Miami all have had openings.
Other schools like South Carolina, Missouri, Rutgers, Syracuse, Virginia and Iowa State have also had openings.
With Mark Stoops finishing off his third year Kentucky on a sour note, it’s the consensus is that there are changes necessary for Stoops to do his job at the level he expects.
