Following the resignation of Michael Smith, Kentucky is currently practicing without a wide receivers coach. Even without someone calling the shots, offensive coordinator Eddie Gran likes what he’s seeing from the group.
“I’m seeing more leadership. I’m seeing guys kind of take the bull by the horn and they’re keeping each other accountable,” said Gran. “I’m really excited about their effort and the way they started spring practice. We talked about consistency and so far they’re four-for-four in terms of competing, hustle (in practice). We’re kind of back to some normal offense so they’re sticking some balls and they’re excited about that.
