Outside of a handful of redshirt seniors, no one on South Carolina’s roster knows what it’s like to beat Kentucky. In a bizarre role reversal, the Cats will be the ones riding a three-year winning streak into Saturday’s game in Columbia, and if you think Will Muschamp is using that to motivate his squad this week, you’re right.
Today, Muschamp told reporters that he reminded his team of their three-year losing streak to Kentucky after Saturday’s win over Missouri.
“I told the guys in the locker room after the last ball game, our seniors haven’t beaten these guys,” Muschamp said.
