No. 24 South Carolina held off No. 19 Florida 57-53 in Columbia last night to set up an undefeated SEC showdown against Kentucky on Saturday.
The Gamecocks (15-3, 5-0 SEC) defeated the Gators despite shooting just 29.4% (15-51) from the field. A big reason why South Carolina was still able to get the win was because Florida failed to hit a single three-pointer (0-17).
Sindarius Thornwell led USC with 20 points.
