South Carolina Gamecocks lose Connor Mitch to injury

The South Carolina Gamecocks appeared to have everything going their way after taking an early 7-0 lead over the Kentucky Wildcats.

That is until the Cats reeled off 24 straight points to end the first half. Making matters worse was starting QB Connor Mitch was knocked out of the game with a shoulder injury. As our friends at Garnett and Black Attack are reporting, it looks like Mitch is out for good in this one.

That means UK will now have to defend either Lorenzo Nunez or Perry Orth for the rest of this game while holding a double-digit lead.
