The Governor's Cup between Louisville and Kentucky was a bit lackluster, as the Wildcats ousted the Cards 52-21 on Saturday night.
UK has now won the last three rivalry games by a combined 153-43 score, UK beat writer Jon Hale said. Kentucky quarterback Will Levis did much of the damage, completing 14 of 18 passes for 149 yards while gaining 113 yards on 14 carries. He tied a school record with four rushing touchdowns in the win.
Louisville quarterback Malik Cunningham tallied 145 passing yards, 35 rushing yards, one rushing touchdown and one interception before being helped off the field and into the locker room in the fourth quarter with a leg injury.
