The Kentucky Wildcats fell victim to sub-par play from their quarterback and kicker on Saturday night as they suffered their first loss of the season to the Texas A&M Aggies.
A&M beat the Wildcats in overtime, 20-14, after starting QB Terry Wilson took a sack on 3rd & 2 that led to a 43-yard field goal attempt by Miles Butler coming up an inch short.
Trayveon Williams then found the end zone on A&M’s first drive of overtime to seal the win.
Kentucky’s defense played lights out in a hostile road environment, while offensive play-calling was questionable with star running back Benny Snell receiving just 13 carries.
